It is two women talking about their interests and things they have done for the week and talking about one of their hamsters to create a feeling of realism and interactive listening, they create the feeling that they are talking to you. The women gives the websites which you should go to see if you want further information so they can promote their website and their sponcers websites. that is when they start talkin about how to aply lipsgloss and makeup with precision. they cover many different issues about fashion and magazines and about the stigma towards women being interested (obsessed) with makeup. obviously this will appeal only to certain niche audiences because everyones interests are differenet. but with this podcast they can distribute their ideas via the web rather than radio or magazine, and using real people speak is much more interactive than reading from a magazine.
by using a podcast and giving audiences more insight into the program they are listening to tehy are increasing customer loyalty as they feel they are getting more from the podcast than the actual radio station. the podcast allows you to listen to things in a non-linear fashion aswell.
